What we do
with your details.

Short version: we collect as little as possible, we don’t sell anything to anyone, and you can leave whenever you like.

What we collect

If you join the list: your first name and email address. That’s it. We use it to tell you about sa’i events and to send you resources we’ve made.

If you send us a message or a partnership enquiry: whatever you type into the form, so we can reply to you.

If you use the calorie calculator: nothing. Your age, weight and height stay in your browser, are never sent to us, and disappear the moment you close the tab. The plan it builds is worked out on your own phone or laptop, not on a server.

If you ask us to email you your plan: your first name and email, plus the numbers that plan is built from, so the email can actually contain your plan. Your plan link carries those numbers in the address itself, which is why the link is private to you and worth keeping to yourself. Nothing about your body is stored on our website.

Analytics

We use privacy-friendly website analytics to see how many people visit and which pages they read. It doesn’t identify you personally and we don’t use it to follow you around the internet.

Who else sees it

Only the services we need to run this: our website host, our email tool, and the ticketing platform if you buy a ticket. Nobody buys your details from us, because we don’t sell them.

Email, and the two separate things you can say yes to

Asking for your plan and joining our list are deliberately kept separate. If you only ask for the plan, that is the only thing we will send you. The events and updates box is its own tick, it starts unticked, and we only treat it as a yes if you tick it yourself.

Leaving the list

Every email has an unsubscribe link, and it works immediately. You can also email us and we’ll take you off and delete what we hold.

Photography at events

We usually photograph and film our events, and we use those images on our website and social media. If you’d rather not appear in anything, tell us on the day. We will always respect it, and you can ask us to remove a photo afterwards at any time.

Events

If you book, our ticketing platform handles your name, email and payment. We never see your card details. We keep the guest list so we know who is in the room, and anything you tell us about an injury or a health condition is used only to look after you on the day and is not kept afterwards.

Asking us anything

Email saisocietyy@gmail.com and a real person will answer. You’re entitled to ask what we hold about you and to have it deleted.

The terms for booking an event and using the tools are on the terms page.
